Clarion Building Inspections is a full-service Building Inspection Company serving the Okanagan, Shuswap and Columbia regions of BC. Our mission is to provide our clients with the important information they need in order to be able to make informed choices about what, for many of them, will be the biggest investment of their lives. Building inspections is our profession, but we love it when our clients tell us that we're really in the peace-of-mind business.

Clarion Building Inspections is a single-inspector firm that is owned and operated by Raul Poole, a former building contractor who has a lifetime of experience in the housing and construction industries. Our business was established in 2009 and, since that time, has completed around 4500 inspections of all types of homes and commercial properties. Raul Poole is a born-and-bred British Columbian who loves where he lives and can't imagine being anywhere else. He has spent most of his working life in the housing industry, first as a carpenter, then as a contractor and homebuilder, and, since 2009, as a home and building inspector. For him, the best part about being a home inspector is being able to use his skills and knowledge towards helping others to achieve their dreams.
Raul is a back-country skier, a fly-fisher, and a mountain-biker who spends most of his spare time outdoors. He has lived in the Shuswap since 2004 after spending a couple of decades raising his family in the Boundary region.
